Exhibition in the Fife marquie at The Open golf tournament St Andrews
An exhibition of a selection of our jewellery pieces including our Scottish gemstone and sterling silver golf ball markers, will be on display in the Fife marquee as part of Creative Fife ,behind the Old Course hotel at St Andrews from the 12 th to the 18 th of July inclusive. For more information on any of our products including ordering please contact us directly using the information on our contact page. All ball markers are made to order by selecting any choice of stone from the polished stone page. These cost £25 each and include a presentation box with special locality insert which details where in Scotland the gemstone was found.
Tie Clips
Just launched are two different tie clip designs using sterling silver and Scottish gemstones. Pictures and details of the clips can be seen on the Trade Jewellery page. As with all the Jewellery these can be made with any of the stone choices from the polished gemstone page.
Shetland & Mull Gemstones
After a very successful gemstone hunting trip in Shetland and Mull there are four additions to the range of stones available on the polished gemstone page. These are beautiful red granite, red/grey Scapolite and unusual black / pink Rhyolite from Shetland and classic red granite from the Isle of Mull. These can all be viewed on the polished stone page with the Shetland stones together and the Mull granite next to the other Scottish granites.
The Gathering Dirk At the Clan Gathering in Hollyrood Park on July 24th 2009, a commemorative Dirk was presented to the patron of the event, Prince Charles. Seven Artisans from all over Scotland were chosen to produce the Dirk , led by the goldsmith Roddy Young. Renato was asked to source,cut and polish two stones for the Dirk, one amethyst for the pommel and a Skye marble cabochon for the catch on the presentation pouch.
